THE BIG . TV

TheBig.tv is partnering with IIM Calcutta's Business Plan Competition: i2I 2008 with the first of its kind online reality show. All you have to do to take part is upload a five minute video of yourself talking about your business concept on thebig.tv and add it as a contest entry.

The i2I organising committee and their Investment Partners (Seedfund) will then choose at least one person from each zone (North, South, East and West) from among these videos .. an they will get to pitch in front of a Venture Fund (Seedfund) in the second round of i2I '08. These pitches would be held in Delhi, Banglaore, Calcutta and Mumbai respectively.

Rules of the contest:

1. The length of the video must not exceed five mins

2. In your video, it's advisable to include

- What is the pain point of the customer you're trying to solve

- Brief description of your product/service

- The present and potential market

- How much money would you need to start and where would you spend the money.

3. In the text description with the video, include the following details

- Team Name | Business Category | Zone

- Brief Description of the Business Concept - 1-2 lines

- Description of Entrepreneur/People Involved - 3-4 lines.

4. Upload the video in the 'Private Mode' or 'Public Mode'.

5. You can separately enter i2I through the usual channel, for details visit www.iimcal.ac.in/i2i. Entries via thebig.tv will be evaluated separately from the textual entries sent to i2I organizers.

6. You can refer to resources provided on thebig.tv as well as on the i2I blog at http://i2i2008.blogspot.com to make your videos.
